Alex Rider


Alex joins the team after spending the last two year's earning his master's degree in sports administration and leadership from Seattle University. While at Seattle University, Alex worked as a marketing graduate assistant for the athletic department where his main focus was on the sports of men's basketball, baseball and men's and women's soccer. 

Prior to Seattle University, he spent a stint with the Portland Trail Blazers as a member of the sales department. Previous to the move to Portland, Alex graduated from the University of Oregon where he graduated with a bachelor's of science in business administration and a minor in economics. While at the University of Oregon, Alex spent the 2013 season working with the football team where he was a defensive undergraduate assistant coach. Alex holds other experience in sports working at the Northshore YMCA, Jordan Kent Skills Camps, and Fanatics, Inc. in Jacksonville, Florida.

In addition to his position with the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games, Alex is a member of the Lake Washington High School football team's varsity staff. A native of Kirkland, Alex can be found away from the office around town with his wife, and their two dogs.
