Aubbie Beal

Aubbie comes to the USA Games with 20 years of experience in large-scale events, marketing, and sponsorship, in both the corporate and non-profit sectors.

She spent 7 years at One Reel, first as Marketing Director and later as Associate Director and Producer, working on Seattle’s iconic Bumbershoot and Family 4th at Lake Union. During her tenure, Bumbershoot’s marketing campaign was awarded IFEA’s Grand Pinnacle for Best Event – the highest honor bestowed by the International Festivals and Events Association.

Aubbie also managed public celebrations at a small event design company with big clients, including the Experience Music Project Grand Opening Festival, the Safeco Field Inaugural Pre-Game Show, the 2001 MLB All-Star Game Pre-Game Show, and Peter Gabriel’s WOMAD USA 2001.

Aubbie got her start producing and marketing 107.7 The End’s signature events EndFest, Deck The Hall Ball, Board Stiff, and the station’s celebrated End Sessions. She also worked directly with the producers, film crew and cast of MTV's Real World: Seattle, which was filmed at the station.

When she’s not at work, you can find her gardening with her dog, Mavis. She volunteers as Marketing and PR Chair with the West Seattle Garden Tour, a non-profit that donates $25,000 annually to support other community organizations. Aubbie is a Seattle Animal Shelter foster parent for cats and kittens. Also on behalf of Seattle Animal Shelter, Aubbie and Mavis visit residents of skilled nursing facilities to enhance the lives of elderly residents and bring them a measure of happiness and fun through the love of pets.

Aubbie grew up in the Pacific Northwest, and is a graduate of Simmons College in Boston.
