RESUME: Seattle native who is in his second season with Sounders FC. Member of the Sounders 2016 MLS Cup winning team. Also has made more than a dozen (and rising!) appearances with the U.S. Men’s National Team.

WHY BE AN AMBASSADOR? Special Olympics is such a great organization and having the USA games here in 2018 is so cool. I want to be out in the community and help in any way I can. That’s a great thing to be able to do when you have a platform like the Sounders give me. Cristian and I are very excited to be involved as ambassadors.

ADVICE FOR ATHLETES: If you can step off the field, look in the mirror, and know you did your best, you can’t accomplish anything more than that.

HOW WILL SEATTLE REACT TO THE GAMES? Seattle is a very supportive sports city and I know people are going to be excited to have the Games here.

WHAT SHOULD ATHLETES DO ON A DAY OFF? Seattle is so beautiful and there’s a lot of cool hikes nearby. I love going out to the Snoqualmie area (east of Seattle) and going on hikes.
