Josh Wilkens

Josh joins the 2018 USA Games team with a strong background in outdoor and athletic event production. His professional event work began with Seafair as a part of their operations team. He has since worked on a variety of events including the Seattle Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, Washington Beer Commission tasting festivals, Nashville’s Country Music Marathon, Seahawks 12K Run, Sounders Rave Green Run, and multiple community-based races.      

Outside of event production, Josh is a collegiate and professional soccer referee. He has refereed over 150 professional matches including games for the United States National Teams, Major League Soccer, the National Women’s Soccer League, Major Arena Soccer League, and various other amateur and youth leagues. He was the head official for the 2014 DI Women’s NCAA Championship match, and is a longtime U.S. Soccer National Referee and familiar face on some of the high-profile soccer games in the Northwest.  

Josh grew up in Seattle and majored in communication at Western Washington University in Bellingham.
