ESPN | Special Olympics Unified Sports Challenge - Community Division

The ESPN | Special Olympics Unified Sports Challenge – Community Division is a fun, lively competition to benefit Special Olympics athletes competing at the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games.

Groups of 4 co-workers, friends or family members will join together with a Special Olympics athlete and a law enforcement officer or fire department personnel to create a unified team of six people. Teams will rotate at their own pace through six activity stations, scoring points at each station. After the initial round has completed, top teams will advance to the playoffs.

On top of the “competitiveness” of the event, we will also award prizes and “spirit awards” for teams showing the most spirit, sportsmanship and more. To top it off, there will be a beer garden, food trucks and live music on site.

Most importantly, this event raises money for the athletes competing at the 2018 USA Games. Each Unified Challenge team is encouraged to raise at least $750, which completely supports one athlete competing in the USA Games. Your donations will help to make the Games a life-changing experience for the athletes competing this summer.
